This is a true gem of a collectible! This s an 8" by 10" composite photo matted to an 11" x 14" size of Marilyn Monroe and myself, Margaret Kerry (Disney's original referencemodel for Tinker Bell), when we modeledin our bathing suits together at the Beverly Hills Hotel for a publicity print layout for a magazine in l949. I took the photo of Marilyn and Marilyn tookthe photo of  me. I was just turning into my 20's then and Marilyn was not yet the super star. You can see the resemblance in our body shapes can't you?

The photo has been double-matted with a black outer matte and a black inner matte which really enchances the photo. An acid-free backing board has been placed behind the photo to protect it.

What makes this photo even more interesting is that there has been a myth that has existed since the l950's that Marilyn Monroe was the reference model for Disney's Tinker Bell. This photo and the information on it tells you the real truth. I was the reference model/actor/dancer for Disney's tiny Tinker Bell in the 1953 film, Peter Pan.
