This·is a wonderful 8" x 10" photo based on a 1950's magazine article about me, Margaret Kerry, the original reference model for Tinker Bell in the 1953 Disney film, Peter Pan. In the lower right hand corner, the live model, me, is perched on a stool, pouting. It's from a movie still of me actually working on Sound Stage One at Disney. It is actually part of a magazine story planted by Disney Studios explaining about the extra steps that their productions take to make their famous movies so life-like. Above the "real" me is a sketch of the animated Tinker Bell.
What makes the photo even·more special is the fact that in the upper left hand corner there is an action picture of Kathryn Beaumont acting out the part of Wendy along with Roland Dupree handling the part of Peter Pan. Kathryn was both the voice and reference model for Wendy in the original film. Roland did all the flying and action scenes in the film, while Bobby Driscoll was the voice. Underneath the photo, it gives a short biography about me at that time and then underneath that is a sketch of Tinker Bell's head.
I have written on the photo the words, "Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust!" and then wrote in quotes, "Tinker Bell" and underneath that my name, "Margaret Kerry."
This photo has been double-matted to an 11" x 14" size with a white outer matte and a black inner matte, which really compliments the photo. An acid-free backing board has been placed behind the photo to protect it.
The photo comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, also signed by me that guarantees that this is indeed my autograph.·You have a lifetime guarantee on its authenticity from TinkerBellTalks.com or a full refund would be made.
