This is an 8" x 10" black and white photo of actress/singer Nancy Osborne as Madame Medusa (voiced by Geraldine Page in the Disney film) in The Rescuers along with other costumed characters at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.  They were promoting the new Disney film for Disney. Nancy signed the photo with the message "Bring me The Diamond" and at the bottom of the photo signed her name and underneath that signed "Madam Medusa." (Disney spelled it with an "e" on the end of Madam which was used in France when addressing a married woman.)
 
The Rescuers animated film was released in June 1977. Nancy Osborne emceed and narrated the Disney/Buena Vista National Tour of North America. Portraying the character of Madame Medusa was interviewed by numerous TV talk shows and children shows like Bozo the Clown and Captain Kangaroo. Madame Medusa was the only talking and singing character on the tour so Nancy represented the film portraying her wild evil character!  The tour and film were a box office success.
