This is an autographed, limited edition of 50, 8 1/2" x 11" photo, custom matted to an 11" x 14" size, which was created for the 150th birthday celebration for James M. Barrie, author of the play and book, Peter Pan, in Kirriemuir, Scotland (his birthplace), in 2010.
At the top of this photo is the title of the piece, "REAL BOYS DO GROW UP!" Underneath that it says "Disney's Peter Pan 1953." On the left side of the photo are three images of Bobby Driscoll, the voice and close-up reference model for Peter Pan. In two of the photos, you see the young fifteen year old Bobby Driscoll when he did Peter Pan, and the last photo was taken shortly before he died at the age of 31. On the right side of the photo you see two images of Roland Dupree when he was the reference model for Peter Pan at about the age of 26-27, and then a third image is Roland prior to his passing in June of 2015. In the center of the photo, close to the top, is the image of Neverland and the pirate ship flying towards it. At the lower portion of the photo is the animated image of Peter Pan with Tinker Bell just above his head.
This photo has been autographed by me, Margaret Kerry, the reference model for Tinker Bell in the 1953 film, Peter Pan, and Roland Dupree. I signed the piece in white ink just above the animated image of Tinker Bell, and Roland signed in black felt-tip pen underneath the image of Peter.
You will receive a certificate of authenticity from TinkerBellTalks.com with the dates and places of signing and a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of the autographs or a full refund would be made.
