This limited edition 18" x13" print is personally numbered and signed by the artist, my good friend, George Murray. It has been triple matted to further enhance the piece. I have two of these #1161 and 1162 of 10,000.
George is an extremely talented pencil artist. In fact, he has done some drawings that are in my autobiography. This print is the ONLY artwork licensed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Andy Griffith Show. George did a fabulous job of capturing the faces of the actors in this show. He didn't draw me but I only appeared in a few episodes of this terrific TV show. I do enjoy teasing George about it though. Each print is sealed in a protective cellophane envelope and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
What makes this piece even more special is that it has also been autographed by nine cast members or a family member in instances where the cast member is now deceased.
They are:
Betty Lynn- Played Thelma Lou
Karen Knotts- Daughter of Don Knotts.
Laura Hagen- Wife of Earle Hagen who composed the music for the show
Elinor Donahue- Played Elle Walker and was Andy's first regular
girlfriendJackie Joseph- Played Ramona (sweet Romeena)
